Design Prinicples for Artificial Photosynthesis

This is what a business in Netherlands was looking for in their book cover design

I need a book cover design for my PhD thesis. It is concerned with artificial photosynthesis, the capturing of sunlight to make hydrogen and oxygen. I have taken a mathematical approach, based on quantum mechanical principles. The basic idea behind my thesis is that we can learn from nature where solar photons are captured with 100% efficiency and converted into fuels.

I would like to see a designs that over the whole book cover;
- a back of 16cm by 24cm
- in between a spine of about 1cm by 24cm
- a front of 16cm by 24cm
The back will contain an abstract of the work.

I haven't decided the exact title and subtitle yet, but it should be something like:

'..................subtitle......................'
'DESIGN PRINCIPLES FOR ARTIFICIAL PHOTOSYNTHESIS:'
'..................Author........................'

And I would like the design to look scientific. Read more
