I've always visualized things from a perspective of "if it were me, how would I have done that?". Well, I realize that I can't change the world but I know that I have the ability to help make change. I've been able to do all this through my creative thinking. Form and function has probably been the two most important things to me since I was a small boy at his art table with a sketchbook and a pencil. By the time I was in my early teens, I was convinced that I'd become an Architect. Though the plan had changed, I still was able to build a foundation based on my creative ideas. Looking back, I can't belive all the things I've learned, the things I've done, the places it took me and the people I've met. It was a year-long sabatical in the Canadian Rockies (Banff) where I cleared my mind and began to figure out what I wanted to be doing for the next 20 years of my life. Coming home and finding myself immediately enrolled in a Multimedia Design & Communication program, I jumped in with an open mind and willingness to learn. The only thing I knew about computers was how to use Microsoft Word to make a resume at the community job bank. What's cool about what I was studying in college — that it only really applies to about 25% of what I do, no matter the medium and no matter the project I'm working on. The creative vision is where it all starts. It's about the way it's built and the reason we use it. Currently, I reside in Toronto, Canada and I'm still freelancing design projects and working in the start-up community. hide
