It's often about taking complex concepts and messages and translating them to simple, image-driven storytelling. It's about getting away from the "Oh great, a PowerPoint" eye roll and delivering a presentation that doesn't LOOK or FEEL like PowerPoint.  So, what helps  him back all this up?  Experience - I'm not a graphic designer who concedes to work in PowerPoint. I'm a PowerPoint designer and I know it inside out striving to turn heads with it in various countries for quite a few years now.  Creative thinker – Aside from the world of presentations, I've designed product launches, advertising and web concepts, events and promotional material.  Strong marketing background – A Masters degree in Business and Marketing and over 4 years in marketing based roles means I know about the importance of the message.  Project/Account Management Experience – Ah, deadlines! 5 years experience managing and coordinating projects, both internally (team initiatives, business cycle design) and with external clients (publishing and post-production) in companies ranging from teeny-tiny (5 people) to large multinational (eg.
