Rebie is a multidisciplinary artist, trained in painting, illustration, sculpture and design at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and t ...more Rebie is a multidisciplinary artist, trained in painting, illustration, sculpture and design at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and the Ateneo de Manila University.  As co-owner and resident artist of Tham & Manuelle Creative Boutique, she leads in the development of effective marketing communications products and services for local and foreign clients. Recently, Rebie has completed design and writing projects for three foreign companies and has likewise been commissioned by other local and foreign businesses to conceptualize and create their campaigns. Rebie's career in advertising and design began after graduation, when she joined one of the leading advertising agencies in the Philippines, Basic Advertising. While at Basic, she topped her advertising training, receiving the highest marks in four out of five fields-Market Research, Creatives, Marketing and Below the Line Advertising; and later on, served as copywriter for known Philippine brands. Rebie's artistry goes beyond visual arts. She also attended the Effie Nanas School of Ballet and Douglas Nierras' Powerdance, where she studied classical ballet and hiphop.  She likewise gained experience in theater as resident member of her high school's drama guild.  Rebie continued to integrate her knowledge of the arts, and imparted them to her students, while she taught dance, theater and language at Miriam College Grade School from 1999 to 2004.  Upon leaving the academe,  Rebie co-founded the Philippines' first streetdance theatre company, Zero Gravity Streetdance Theatre, which launched in April 2007. A graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, Rebie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (Cum Laude), and is just a thesis shy from completing her Master in Arts degree, major in Counseling Psychology, from the same university. hide
