Jenkins Jr, I am an inspiring entrep and a freelance graphic designer. I attended a two year school and earned an Associates of Specialized Technology of Multimedia. For the most part I design logos and business cards but I have dabbled in other print material as well as some web design. I am now pursuing online marketing and S.E.O. to offer my clients a new service but I am always trying to improve my current skills and looking for new ways to be creative. I am starting this blog to share some of my knowledge as well as some of my opinions on logo design and to hear the valuable opinions of other designer or individuals interested in graphic design. MY JOURNEY BEGINS… Ever since I was a child I knew I enjoyed anything creative, using my hands and imagination to create or bring something to life has excited me. When I was 14 years old I got my first computer and realized I wanted to move into the digital art Relm, and become a graphic design artist. At this age I taught myself HTML, so I ventured into web programming and it then lead to creating my own graphics for the pages I was designing. EDUCATION BEYONG GRADE SCHOOL When I graduated from High School I was sure I wanted to attend school for graphic and web design but also touch on 3d animation. I enrolled in a two year degree and in 2005 I graduated with a 3.65 GPA. HAPPENING AFTER HIGHER EDUCATION After school I went right into Freelance Graphic design, designing for friends, joining freelance website and designing online in my spare time. Over the last ten years or so I have seen some really good designs but have also seen my share of really bad design which unfortunately can or did make it way to the market. Believe me there is nothing more upsetting then a design that doesn’t work getting chosen after you put all your heart and soul into a design you believe is right for the type of market as well as your client’s business. PRESENT TIMES After all these years I am still designing, still love the process and I am always looking for a new adventure. Creating this blog will not only allow me to discuss my opinions, experiences and the knowledge I have gathered but also learn from others as well! Remember the learning process never stops and all markets evolve over time.
