Having been working in the industry for more than 27 years, I am competent in all aspects of Graphic Design: magazine and newspapers design, web design, banner design, logo design, corporate branding, brochures and collaterals, advertising, packaging, POS, etc. Being a master in the art of turning a blank page or screen into an outstanding design with attractive typography and iconography, I pay particular attention to detail and to getting the right balance between headlines, text, spaces and images in order to produce an eye-catching and easily readable, user-friendly layout. Yes, I can also think "outside the box" but what is yours? Thinking outside the box should be used with moderation: when everybody is doing this, it actually means everybody is thinking inside the same box... Rest assured I never use boxes. Boxes do not exist. I use inspiration, talent, a ruler, a calculator, a computer and first and foremost: I'm listening to you! My main skills are an imaginative creativity allied to a rigorous, state-of-the-art technique and attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team as well as on my own when needed. I am an expert of Quark Xpress, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and have a good working knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash. I work very fast without ever compromising on the quality of my work. I am also a quick-learner when being confronted to new software or tools, and my sense of initiative allows me to easily adapt and react to any new or unexpected situation. I am very good at taking clients' briefs through to completion and have an excellent understanding of their needs, often delivering beyond their expectations. I am also efficient in problem solving and troubleshooting and liaising with third-party suppliers, printers etc. and I am always ready to go the extra mile when necessary in order to meet the often tight deadlines involved in this industry.
