I am a first-year student studying Image Arts New Media at Ryerson University in Canada. Before I moved to Canada to pursue a creative degree, I was living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where I have lived all my life. I graduated from Dubai College in mid-2011; the subjects I achieved certificates for were mostly art and science based. I then took a gap year to work for an established event-decoration company based in Dubai, during which I set myself out to complete a short course in basic Graphic Design where I learned how to use: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and CorelDraw. I am currently in the process of completing my first year of the Image Arts New Media program, and have started learning how to write HTML5 and CSS, as well as learning the basics of video and audio editing and production. hide
