Modern Design for Norwegian Souvenir Playing Cards

This is what Luxrus Design AS was looking for in their graphic design

We are looking for a design to place on the back of our new playing cards.

Target audience: Tourists in Norway
Dimensions: Standard poker card size, 88.0x63.5mm
Design: Modern - which may include traditional Norwegian elements. We want a premium design that communicates good quality. The design should be something that people associate with Norway, in some way. We would prefer it not to be seasonal, since we are going to sell it all year around.

Our company, Luxrus Design AS, is a new, small company based in Norway. We specialize in making souvenirs with a twist. Now we take aim at conquering the playing card market with decks which have our own unique twist on the front side of each card. On the back side we want a design that continues our brand of modern look and premium quality. We are thinking a clean, minimalistic look that doesn't clutter the card and is instantly appealing in a store setting. These are preliminary thoughts, but we are open for other suggestions. Read more
