UPDATE 8/25/2013: Please see attached screenshot of contextual use of these icons. We want to replace those we have presently with flat form images where each icon is a DISTINCT shape and on shape alone communicates meaning, then the color of that specific shape denotes urgency associated with the meaning.

We need a standardized library of Status icons that efficiently communicate a status at a glance. (see http://www.patientstreaminc.com)The same form can be used with a color change solely indicating a change in status...eg. going from black to yellow to red or green. For example, we use red icons to express importance or urgency and often use the same icon in two different colors (usually blue and green) to notate “to do” and “done”. We usually display icons at 24x24 pixels on the workstation, and up to 48 x 48 on airport displays, which means they have to be quickly and easily identifiable at that size.
