Logo Design Brief
I'm a citizen media blogger and trainer. I want a simple logo design that is thoughtfully designed for my business under the name BlogSQ (Blog Square).
I specialize in blogging about citizen media (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizen_media) and training individuals to become better online communicators and collaborators by using social media effectively for their social cause.
The name BlogSQ (Blog Square) comes from my personal experience being a participant in the 18 days of Egyptian revolution (both online activism and in street protests) and how I witnessed Egyptians seeking social justice use the simple tools of social media to to share their ideas, collaborate and organize to lead protests against an unfair regime. To me, the name Blog Square means idea expression on social media by individuals/citizens that leads to action in the streets and public squares.
Although the name is inspired by Egypt, my audience/trainees are from North America and the Middle East, and want to apply what they will learn for a social cause their own local community. So the logo should have a universal appeal. The colours of the logo should be warm and reflect a sense of action.
To summarize, the keywords that would describe BlogSQ: Individuals. Social media. Social change. Local. Public Squares. Action.
Thank you!
