Would it look strange to have the "glare" on the glass off to the side a bit and not over top of a continent? Also could you perhaps make the continents almost appear as though they're on the glass (instead of floating objects in the wine) - so perhaps bow them around the curve of the glass and make them a tad bigger. I don't know how this would be appear - can you try it though?
