An 18 room motel in Stafford, KS has a new owner and is undergoing extensive renovation. We need a logo for a new exterior business sign will reflect the image of a clean, simple, respectable place to stay. I would like to see a design that is reminiscent of the classic Route 66 style and oil cans of that era - after all, this is a roadside motel, and we will be decorating the lobby with some antique handpainted road signs. Influences of craftsman or Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School design would also be fitting. Three images are attached not to copy, but to illustrate a look and feel that I like. While a vintage look is fitting, it is also critical that it is obvious that it is fresh and new. I am less concerned with a symbol than I am the style and lettering that conveys the business name. It needs to be a simple design that can be easily read from a distance. This will be used on the business sign outside the motel, but in the future may also be on a website and printed material.
