Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a new logo or a logo refresh. Our current logo can be viewed on our website www.cfnwct.org.

We are considering a name change, so the new logo could read:

Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation or
Community Foundation for Northwest Connecticut

Project info:
Community Foundation's are local nonprofits that support charities and programs within a specific geographic area. They are made up of Funds that people establish through donations. These funds often are set up to help specific things like education or hunger in those local towns. Others in the community make donations to these funds based on which causes they want to contribute to.

The Community Foundation of Northwest CT's mission is to enrich the quality of life for residents of our 20 town service area in Connecticut's Northwest corner through the generosity of fund holders. We seek to enrich the quality of life for residents of Northwest Connecticut by inspiring local philanthropy, convening stakeholders in community welfare, strengthening the regional nonprofits network and fostering collaborative funding partnerships.

We work collaboratively with fund holders, donors and their attorneys and financial and estate planners on individual giving solutions that address donors' individual goals. More than 270 well-invested funds combat hunger and homelessness, enable low-income children to visit museums and art galleries, build endowments for nonprofits, and provide scholarships.

Design notes: We like out website and most of the colors and fonts. We would like to change the green on our logo.
