Great start everyone! Loving the direction this is going A few things I'm thinking:

1. CIrcles work, but so do egg-shapes (maybe), and ovals and imperfect, off-kiltered squares or triangles.
2. Can use red either more sparingly (like, a small accent), or more dominantly if the rest of the design works with it. Does not have to be firetruck red, could be reddish.
3. Don't want too many colors, but if you feel a color other than red, black and white could be used effectively, use it.
4. We're looking for a look and/or elements that will be unique and easily identifiable as part of the brand for years to come. Like the treatment of the red star for Heineken, the harp for Guinness, the bicycle + light for New Belgium, the off-centered, choppy font for Dogfish Head. We realize this is difficult to do, but great if it can be done in an effective manner.

Please post messages if you're looking for more information.

Cheers,
Mike

I like the red and think it really works nicely. I also think a gold or straw yellow might work either instead of the red, or for accents with the red. Reason being, it's also a highly visible color plus it reflects the color of the grain and beer that's produced from it. Not leaning to yellow as a definite must have, just don't want to limit my options for anyone that has some thoughts on using this color in their designs. Thanks!

Hi all, thanks to those that have submitted so far. Five days left. Some really impressive submissions. My feedback has ranged from one star to four stars. I'd like to run an opinion poll on what I have with some friends tomorrow and narrow down my final choice by Thursday. So anyone thinking of submitting something else, please do it as soon as you can. Thanks in advance!
