Logo Design Brief

We are a new startup called Dluxdays. It is a mobile application and website where people can get discount offers from Medium and High-end brands/businesses for their special days (e.g. birthdays, wedding, engagement, anniversary, graduation etc.) based on their wishlists. Other than a platform for luxury discount offers, Dluxdays is also a social media platform merely based on special occasions, where people can see wish lists of their friends to avoid buying unwanted gifts on those days; can congratulate each other in creative ways (short video, animated etc. congratulations); can send ready congratulation messages by 1 click without typing one; can share photos/videos of their gifts or special moments on those days and keep memos (photos, videos, messages etc) of these days all in one place to access in the future. (There are many more features).

So, the logo should communicate different feelings which might be contradictory to each other: Glamourous/Luxury + Inspiration to treat themselves and Enthusiasm to socialize and engage with their friends on the special days.
Because we don't have a good knowledge about what colors to use to match our brand personality for the above feelings, we don't have specific color requirement and we think this should be left for the designer to decide as it is something that they know the best.

The design should be modern, custom and the fact that this is also a mobile app should be taken into consideration.

ABC1 social class (who have at least graduated from college and employed), age 25-44. Mainly women, but not only.
