Logo Design Brief

I need a company logo for a 52 year old electrical contracting business. Over the years I have had several and just did not like any of them. I do not want anything that is typical of electrical contractors ex: lighting bolts, light bulbs, or extension cords with the logo. Rather, I would like something that is very professional looking.
