T-shirt Design Brief

"Collective Tee" is a new online graphic tshirt brand.

We believe in smart clever graphic design and spreading a story through the graphic tshirt.

Each issue of the tshirt is based on a story. There are no in house designers. Collective Tee tries to source graphic designers from around the world. What better way to show that Collective Tee is a collective effort of various people than by crowd sourcing the first tshirt.

The story of each issue is printed on the 'inside' of the back of the tshirt and can't be seen by the public. The story is then used by the graphic designer who interprets the story to design the Tee. This enables the wearer to share the story and to tell the story to those around them. If someone says 'nice tee' the wearer now has a nice story to tell them.

The only brief for this is that it be a kick ass graphic that looks great as a tshirt but also have an element of clever design in it.

Attached to this project is the story that this story must be based on. This is basically a story about how you should live your life and follow your passion if you can (YOLO). Also a story about how this brand got started (Collective Tee)

We have also attached pictures of tshirts we like the look off.

Depending on the art work. The tshirt is either likely to be a dark tshirt either dark green or dark blue so keep this in mind. Most likely the drawings will be in bright yellow.

Alternatively if a colourful design is chosen the tshirt may be white or grey.

As far as possible keep colours to a minimum but we won't say no to a kick arse design.

Requirements

Nice to have

• 1) Either a silhouette of a single item in camouflage. Similar to the pigeon picture or a repetition of a single item similar to the moustache picture.
  
  If the above is not to your liking - We also really like an illustration on YOLO which is similar to the two maps attached (on California and Pittsburgh).
  
  If possible, the words "Collective Tee" or "collective tee" incorporated into the design - either subtle or prominent (we leave it to you) depending on designers preference and interpretation.
