Logo Design Brief

I have a logo that needs updating. The logo is in the attached files. The logo has a paw and needs to be updated but the fonts need to stay close to the same. Can integrate the name Southpaw Electric Co. in the logo if possible. On the paw itself, I am thinking more textured, gradient or 3D feel and less flat, more modern and professional. Right now it just looks like clip art.
