I would like to know if you expect to have representation of animals in your logo, let's say as in http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Union_Sportsmen's_Alliance_Logo.jpg
or you expect something far more subtle as the third example you attached your brief. Also having in mind the > 100 years of tradition, i presume that you expect a vintage appearance to the logo?.

Great questions. Yes the logo can have animals. The Sportsmans Alliance is nice, but seems common and I''d prefer something more subtle. There is a logo on designcrowd for "JackDaw studios" that uses an animal but keeps the design classy.
