Logo Design Brief

We are a security company from and based in Bristol UK with the main business being the supply of Door Supervisors to pubs and clubs.

As far as the design I’m pretty open as I don’t have any specific ideas unfortunately. I do want to stay away from the typical cliché security associated logos like shields, locks, eyes, and silhouette’s of security personnel. I’m looking for something that obviously transfers easily on to anything from business cards to clothing so would need to be a logo that is easily printable and looks just as good scaled down smaller.
