Logo Design Brief
We need a corporate logo design for "Loan Broker Australia” (“LBA”), a new Financial Services company in Australia that has a small corporate head office, with a management team of highly experienced financial services professionals, operating under the LBA brand. The company will have ownership and management control over approximately 20 to 30 small to medium financial services businesses with offices throughout Australia. These businesses will display the LBA branding as either their primary or secondary branding (in which case they may each retain their own primary branding as well).
For this reason, the LBA brand and logo needs to be strong, corporate and professional to standalone as a trusted brand for people seeking to borrow money (especially for the businesses as part of LBA who display it as their primary brand), but the logo also needs to be subtle so that it adds strength to (but doesn’t clash with) the branding of those member companies who retain their own primary branding but also display our new logo as secondary branding to demonstrate that they are a part of the large, strong, LBA financial services group.
Those businesses, or “member companies” of the LBA group of companies each will have their own individual brand & logo, but will in a smaller way co-brand as a “Member of Loan Broker Australia”, or a “Member of LBA”. The LBA logo as part of this will need to appear on business cards (etc) as a smaller logo for these businesses than their primary brand (i.e. as a set % of their existing business card). So the logo also needs to be relatively simple (not too intricate) to be displayed in small font sizes where necessary.
The LBA brand also needs to be linked to the website “www.loanbroker.com.au”. So a version of the logo should include the website address.
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We need to extend the project by 5 days, as our Company Directors have not had enough time to review all of the submitted designs and send feedback to all the designers within our initial timeframe (and some feedback seeking revisions has only been sent very close to our initial deadline - which we feel is unfair to the designers, as we may not have given them enough time to respond).
We will make sure all designers get feedback over the next few days, and would like to see a some additional & revised designs to compare to those currently on our shortlist.
Thanks for everyone who has submitted so far, and we look forward to providing everyone feedback and finalising the project hopefully after the next 5 days.
Thanks.

Requirements
Must have
- A clear and defined logo for our branding that has a professional and corporate look and feel. To be used on cards, websites, letterhead etc. it needs to be sharp & professional. Also needs to be able to reproduced in small print as a secondary branding (so nothing too intricate).
Nice to have
- Something with a holistic feel. The brand will be hitting the marketplace with a presence that we want to become easily identifiable for the future in a competitive industry.
Should not have
- Anything too intricate in design (which would make it difficult to be reproduced as a secondary brand on business cards etc).
