Logo Design Brief
Valencia Advisory, ltd. is a professional services consultancy with headquarters in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada. We provide information and asset protection in the areas of cybersecurity, privacy, critical assets, and information technology.
We are looking for a friendly, memorable logo that does not need to tightly tie to the nature of the company. We are partial to themes of motion, water, submarine, global, security, privacy, technology.
Updates
Thank you to the many designers who have submitted such a broad range of creative and professional logos. Many of them have potential. Here is what we are learning as we go through this process with you:
1) We don't want to see logos that are only showing Information and Asset Protection without also showing Valencia or Valencia Advisory
2) Several nice variations on a shield, nautical themes, submariner themes all of which are interesting. They should be *stylized* not realistic of course
3) Many of you have taken the notion of 'friendly' into the design; would like to see more

Nice to have
- The company name was based on a winding discussion from three founding partners, in Toronto. We considered the nautical theme - submariner - as appropriate in our field of security and privacy and played with concepts and names. Most are already used, but we settled on Valencia (Yellow Submarine football team).
Should not have
- In the canadian market and in the cyber space we have many logos and images that are strongly assertive and invoke security and protection. We would like a logo that is more accessible, friendly, but professional.
