Logo Design Brief

The logo is for the "Nottingham Information 4U" project which aims to provide people of Nottingham with personalised social and healthcare information online.

Users of the website will be able to either enter a small 'questionnaire' (health condition, age and location etc.), or search using keywords.

The search results include mostly Links to third party websites, but also Pages, Events and Organisations.

Unlike searching on Google all the information and links to third party websites has been verified and approved by healthcare professionals as being reliable, up to date and of a high quality.

The search results can be downloaded as a PDF (this will be called an "Information Prescription"), printed or saved. An 'Information Prescription' is like a prescription you would get from your Doctor but instead of medicine being prescribed it is information.

Like a medical prescription from your Doctor it is personalised to the individuals needs.

This is not a corporate project, it is joint funded by the NHS (National Healthcare Service) and Nottinghamshire County Council.

Requirements

Nice to have

• Nottingham (UK) is famous for the Major Oak. The Major Oak features in the "Nottinghamshire County Council", "Nottingham Forest Football Club" and "Newark & Sherwood District Council" logos. I should note, as there have been quite a few designs with an oak tree that this is an optional element for the logo.

Should not have

• It should not have any cliche healthcare images such as a red cross.
  
  It should not feature Robin Hood, a historical figure who lived in Nottinghamshire (UK).
