Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new non-profit organization based in the lake town of Excelsior, Minnesota called "Community for The Commons". PLEASE REVIEW ATTACHED FILE FOR INFO.
We are a park conservancy that will raise funds in support of the historic Excelsior Commons Park - a park established in the mid 1800s on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. The park is a community gathering place with swimming beaches, playgrounds, natural areas, a band shell, picnic areas, festivals and has strong historical ties.
The logo should communicate a collaborative, community based organization with historical awareness and a vision for the future of The Commons. The logo must also appeal to potential donors - convey a sense of professionalism and fiduciary duty.

Target Market(s)

Donors - individuals, government agencies, foundations, etc. that will donate funds to our non profit
Key stakeholders of the community - residents of South Lake Minnetonka, city government, park and rec council.
