Logo Design Brief

I need to update our corporate logo to be more modern and catchy. Ideally, I would like to stay with the red and black theme; however I'd like the logo to be the next evolution of our company. The logo should be web and print ready (including use on promotional giveaway products) and should be available in three formats- full color, one color and black and white. The logo should have a strong corporate feel. We primarily focus on business to business customers. I have attached a pdf of our current logo and need some creative direction on how we can evolve the logo into something more user friendly.
