Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in the San Francisco Bay Area called "Bay Area Engraving". We manufacture phenolics for any industry requiring durable labeling--ie, labeling for mechanical equipment, name plates for desks/doors/cubicles, name badges, trophies, etc. We would like to see a sharp, memorable design that will appeal to a wide range of customers.

Our target market will initially be the building trades, but we'd like to allow for this to become more broad over time.
