Logo Design Brief
UPDATED 4-25: We are getting a lot of designs with ME as the stamp or mark. We do not like this because it spells the word "me." It is confusing. Ideally, what we are seeing that we like is a graphic and the word MobileEyes. Again, the graphic should not be eyeglasses, eyeballs, or a silly robot.
What this machine represents is digital technology, the future, flexibility, speed, agility and intelligence. We want a logo that reflects.
The logo that I had uploaded as a representative sample is to show a basic style that we liked. We liked that the mark was "floating." We liked the two tone aspect of the design and we liked the 3D aspect.
Also, we do not want our robot in the design, as the basic design may evolve, thus making the logo antiquated.
UPDATED 4-24: We need a logo design for a new product that we are developing that deserves it's own identity. This is a joint project between our company - NCC Automated Systems at www.nccas.com and Satisloh www.satisloh.com, however we don't like the two colors together in the logo. Instead, the logo should follow NCC colors and we will take care of Satisloh colors with another aspect of the vehicle. It will be a co-branded product, thus would be cool if we could integrate elements of branding from each (just not colors).
We DO NOT want eyeballs or glasses involved in the logo, as this is well overplayed in the industry.
I uploaded a logo recently developed onlinethat we really like as a representative sample of one style that we like.
The product itself is a self-guided vehicle to service the Opthalmic industry -the process of making eyeglass lenses. Picture R2D2 from Star Wars that moves about a factory floor by itself. At each station it either picks up or delivers trays containing lenses.
It obviously represents state of the art technology. The name for this product is, fittingly, MobilEyes.
We intend to use the logo on sales brochures, digital campaigns and also for use as a sticker on the vehicle itself. A picture of the vehicle is attached.

All - I have updated our design brief. Please read it carefully as we're not thrilled with the current logos, so this contest is wide open!

All designers - some good things coming in! The design brief has been updated at least twice. Please check it out. The ones we're liking have: an interesting graphic depicting some type of movement, graphic that is 3D and / or floatin, simple fonts, usually two colors between Mobil and Eyes, colors that are NCC logo colors (blues) highlighted with grays / silvers.
