Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a non profit that promotes healthy and ecologically sustainable policy for local beaches in West Michigan. We are a grass roots organization that is fighting the local city government to protect our families playgrounds on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our goals are
1) Keep the children and families of West Michigan safe and healthy while on the beach.

2) Preserve the natural beauty of West Michigan beaches for the years to come.

3) Make sure that our safe and clean beaches continue to attract visitors all year round so that the business communities of West Michigan continues to thrive.

Target Market(s)

Community awareness, families who cherish our natural resources and don't want our community assets destroyed by a minority bent on selfish usage.

Requirements

Must have

• feeling of beaches (sun, sand, waves) of some sort, natural, clean, feel. Must be very simple.

Nice to have

• Lighthouse - see Grand Haven Michigan as an example, maybe something fun like a kite or something... not required... the logo must make someone feel like they want to go to the beach. Palm trees are not required, dune grass is more appropriate.

Should not have

• no animals of any kind
