I am a childminder. I want to start marketing myself more properly and differentiate from my competition. I think that having a brand identity would make a massive difference and I see a logo as the first step and possibly the most important as well
A childminder is a regulated professional who looks after children at her own home (as opposed to a nanny who goes to the kid's house). Typically childminders take care of young kids (pre 3 years old) during the day and older kids for school drop ins and pick ups
I would like the logo to catch parents' attention by evoking either a child, a protected child, a female adult looking after a child or maybe a child motive. What I want is that anyone interested in services or activities for kids comes to look at it.
On top of that my brand will be my name Raquel Martínez, and I would also like a subtitle indicating what I do Childminder. However I would like to say that I have not much idea about design so I'm open to creativity. I'm just saying what comes to mind as a good idea.
I would like to be able to use my logo in all sorts of materials, business cards, stationery, Facebook / blog / website etc
