Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company which will provide art classes for babies and pre-school children. I would also run workshops during school holidays and parties for children up to the age of 11 yrs. The sessions will allow the children to explore their curiosity and imagination, with the focus being on the process of creating rather than the finished product. I like that children have these crazy imaginations which aren't constricted by a lifetime of boundaries.

I've attached an example idea, which shows a child like drawing of a character, with lines coming out of its head to represent imagination and splashes of paint at the ends of the lines. This is just an idea, please feel free to come up with something completely different.

The company name is Little Lollapalooza. Lollapalooza means an extraordinary or unusual thing, person, or event; an exceptional example or instance.

I like the idea of the brand being an imaginary person/creature who lives in the Land of Lollapalooza. This character or person is curious and likes to travel, discover and explore. I would then use this idea to help form the session content, discussing what the Land of Lollapalooza may look like etc and having an old fashioned suitcase to open at the start of each session, to discover what is inside it that's going to inspire the session.

Target Market(s)

My target market are carers of children and their children. That could be parents, grandparents or childminders. The classes are for babies and pre school children. School holiday workshops and parties are for children up to the age of 11 years.
Initially I'll be setting up in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
