Logo Design Brief
Our company is in Japan. The English name is Pacific Broadcasting Association. In Japanese it is 太平洋放送協会
We want a modern looking logo that uses the English word "PBA" as the main part, but includes the Japanese name as well.
We create public service radio and TV programs in Tokyo, then work with local sponsors in each broadcast market. The local sponsors air these public service programs in their locales. Both PBA and the sponsor groups are all non-profits, and we are working together to get these programs on the air. Hence, the 'Association' part of our name. The sponsor groups give us ideas of what programming they want, we make it, and the get it on the stations in their area.
It would be great if the logo could somehow reflect the "many groups working together" or "from the outlying areas to the center (PBA) and back again" aspect of what we do.
We would like to lean toward 'classy' rather than 'fun' or 'playful'. The logo has to appeal not only to our associate groups, but also to stations, ad companies, etc.
