Business Card Design Brief

I need a business card design that is clean and uses modern minimalist style. The design should incorporate our logo (see attached). I would also like to use embossing on the cards so that they also have a great feel. I am open to the card using one or more colors, and these do not have to correspond to the colors in the concept paper. The card can either be one-sided or use both sides of the card.The logo uses the Avenir font.

I will need the file designed in Adobe CS and compatible with CS5.5 (Illustrator preferable) and I'll need the working file (for example: .ai) once the project is complete so that I can change the names/contact info/etc for each variation of the card.

This needs to be a memorable card for the recipient. They should think: "This is a great business card" either because of its simplicity or embossing effects or use of color.

The audience for our company has two main groups: people who pay for healthcare (insurers, companies, researcher companies) and people with chronic health conditions who are the consumers of our services and resources.

Requirements

Must have

• Essential components of the card include: Company logo, contact Name (John Smith), phone number (1234567890), email address (jsmith@allyviate.com), slogan/tagline that consists of ~30-40 characters (Use Lorem Ipsum)

Nice to have

• These fall just slightly short of "must have" to allow for design flexibility: Embossing or spot varnish effects and a splash of color

Should not have

• Designs with these components will not be successful: flashy or showy designs that are not professional in appearance, and lots of different colors
