Logo Design Brief

I am an Arborist offering tree pruning and tree removal services. The name is 'Tree Hands'.

I am really looking for a clever logo concept.

Logo should hopefully remind observers of the name TreeHands, should be able to be seen and identified from a distance, and be reassuring to customer that service will deliver careful treatment of trees, careful of customer property, and be trustworthy and capable.

Should no clever designs be found, possibly resort to using just a tree with text 'Tree Hands'. Have supplied tree concept for typical colors, however don't be restricted by this suggestion.

Target Market(s)

Target market is people seeing logo on the side of a cherry picker truck, and remind those people of the name. Target market will want to be reassured of care for trees. If the logo makes it easy to remember the name 'Tree Hands' and looks professional, then you are designing in correct direction. The target market is 35-70 year olds. Use Cartoonish designs with care as often they end up looking like they are for school children.

Requirements

Must have

• Tree in the logo, or tree leaf in logo
• Logo and text be identified from a distance (seen and read without spending a lot of time considering what the text is saying, or what the picture is) as people often will only see logo as they drive past in their car.
• Be mature - not to use child oriented images or text.

Nice to have

• Silhouettes work well.
• Clipart trees similar to one supplied work well but with more natural looking trunk.
• Pictures of a climber on rope in tree
• Logo image to represent Tree Hands
• Pictures tree surgeon/s
• I have put in some images of the style of trees looking for - use these to direct your creativity (don't copy them)
• Logos that reassure people that I am careful and caring

Should not have

• Aggressive intonations - images that look like you are going to attack some persons tree.
• Please don't just grab a Google image and throw some text around it, unless you can make it elegant. Please see competitor logos for the for some examples on the type of logo looking for.
• Not Look 'Spooky'
• Not Look 'Spiritual' or 'Ritualistic'
• Not have Yoga stance images
