Logo Design Brief

A logo for a new Microbrewery located at Creek Street on the Balmain Peninsula in Sydney, Australia. Balmain is an inner western and very old suburb of Sydney with strong roots in working class and shipping yards, albeit now gentrified. This is a new microbrewery venture brewing hand crafted boutique lagers, ales, stouts and ciders on a small scale predominately for the local Sydney market. Logo will be used on websites, bottle labels and advertising material. Logo may also need to include additional text for name of beer being brewed, e.g.; "Lager", "Pale Ale", "Cider", "Stout" etc. It would be helpful to refer to other microbrewery logos and styles for inspiration.
