Logo Design Brief

It's a restaurant. Mandalay is a second capital of Myanmar. I would like to have something unique for my logo (eg. Ancient back ground with MK design). I do not have any sketches. Honestly, do not know where to start. Please look up on internet what's Mandalay look like. You would get some idea. Thanks for your help.
