Logo Design Brief

We are a rapidly growing Cognitive Science program at UC Merced, described here:

We have moved to WordPress for our site.

We are interested in a SIMPLE LOGO that can be used for multiple purposes, primarily our website. Something that takes advantage of theme(s) such as networks, language, the brain, dynamics, and so on (order of preference). A description of our program and some example images can be seen on the above website.

We would like the logo in vector-quality graphics, so that it can be scaled in various ways, and recolored as well. It is not necessary to factor in all these themes. We would prefer a NETWORK theme, but we'd consider others.

Logo could say:

CogSci @ UC Merced
CogSci
or no text, just a network/other figure that can be placed beside "CogSci @ UC Merced"
