Logo Design Brief

We require a logo design for use on our website and marketing materials e.g. business cards. We provide an innovative web based system for businesses; to assist them with capturing customer's details, communicating with customers and connecting businesses together for mutual marketing benefits.
The final design should communicate growth and represent us as a modern, innovative company.
We require two versions of the logo: a square logo and a banner style logo (e.g. dimensions 235x69). The logo should work on a variety of backgrounds and have a colour scheme plus background that would complement a grey website page, see http://www.websitefor.co.uk/WS4/media/Example.PNG for an example of the current banner logo in-situ which we want to replace. The colours should be web friendly.
