Logo Design Brief

We need a modern logo design for a civil construction company based in the Waikato, New Zealand. The main projects we are involved in include roads, footpaths and services (water/wastewater/sewer). We are a small company, owner operated. The design should communicate drive, work ethic, honesty and quality. We are an awesome team who build awesome projects.

The logo needs to be in colours that can be photocopied. Our existing branding uses blue and we would like to retain blue in the logo - a contrasting colour can also be used. The logo needs to be able to be both small enough to use as a letterhead and within the header of a tender, and large enough to go on the side of a vehicle.

We want the logo to demonstrate versatility and not use any specific area only (i.e. road) as we want to be seen as being more than just a roading contractor.

• Possible emphasis on the word Civil.
