Logo Design Brief

Petit Nomaad is a collection of children's clothing that features bold colors, simple cuts, interchangeable sizes, functional design.
Clothing that children can play, travel, explore, collect, and sleep in (but they can even attend a last minute dinner with the Prime Minister in it, should the opportunity present itself..)
Petit Nomaad is curious and adventurous. They navigate the seas by the stars..they travel the deserts in caravans..they know their longitude and latitude...NO GPS (they chart their course on old maps..)
I am seeking a logo that embodies these things. The logo will appear on all clothes so a design that is simple would work best.

Must have

• Must have an "older" feel to it and accommodate itself well on a label/tag.

Nice to have

• I would prefer the design to be simple while representing the vision behind the brand. A few things that have come to mind have been passport/passport stamps or a mode of travel/accomodation: camel..llama..elephant..African Queen boat..sailboat (a la Pippi Longstocking)..
