Logo Design Brief

My mom and I are starting a new business in St. Petersburg, Florida! The business will be called Curly Girly Gourmet and will initially focus on gourmet trail mix. Our plan is to start at our local farmer's market and grow from there! This may mean eventually moving into other gourmet food items, locations, etc so we need a look and feel that will work in a number of situations.

My mom and I both have curly hair which is where the business name comes from. It's sort of a family trait that people associate with our family and this trail mix is something my mom is well known for making. We are fun and spunky, but also gourmet and high end. I am envisioning a character girl in a cute dress and apron doing some sort of mixing with a bowl, but nothing terribly obvious in the bowl one way or another (especially since we are starting with trail mix). Or maybe no bowl at all? And she needs to be modern, not at all traditional or old fashioned. We are working women, not housewives. I would be open to anything generally gourmet food, cooking related for her!

I am thinking purple, lime green, pink, blue..... something upscale and fun, but maybe more in the pastels rather than super highlighter bright. I would also like to see hair in both red and brown options.

I am generally open to anything that will build our brand name and image recognition and gives a feel of gourmet and modern.

Will probably need website, business card, sign, t-shirt, etc designs as well....
