Logo Design Brief

I am setting up my own recruitment company called Quantify Recruitment, in London, and need a smart logo to make a good impression. I recruit forensic accountants and forensic IT professionals into the legal and professional services sector, a niche sector with a small few competitors. Analysing information & figures, being precise, thinking outside the box and having attention to detail are key attributes of the people I recruit. Their work is mostly confidential, and often used in a court of law, so my logo needs to suggest something smart, trustworthy, simple and professional, (but not boring!) so they will notice it.

I like the idea of a rubiks cube, maybe in 3D style. Or a rubiks cube with one little box coming out at the end subtley reflecting a Q. I like the colour mixtures + sense of motion in the new pwc logo, and I like the simplicity of the logo from Odgers (both attached below). It will need to look cool in black & white also when it goes onto the top of peoples CV. I like font Georgia but I don't need to stick to this. Quantify Recruitment written simply may look cool in its own right through a designers eyes, I don't know? Maybe I don't need an actual 'picture' logo? Am open to ideas/colours..
