Is it absolutely necessary for the logo to say ingersoll paper box co. limited, since 1922? Cant it just have Ingersoll Paper box co?

For example:  Cereal box, Kleenex box, box that medicine may come in.  hope this helps

I can't say it is 100% necessary, but it is the legal name of the company.

Do you want a pictorial logo? Or word based ??? colour preferences?

a word based logo - with a small pictorial - i don''t want the picture to be the whole logo though.
