Web Design Brief
This project is only open to those designers we have invited. If you have not been invited, please do not send in any proposals as they will be rejected.
The site – finance-gateway.com – is a service which will offer to discount e-invoices. The users of the site will be:
Suppliers (looking to discount their invoices) – these are the key users of the site
E-Invoice Service Bureaux – who will be looking to offer these services to Suppliers via their Buyer clients
Buyers – who are looking to provide a discounting service for their invoices
Funders – banks and investment house who are looking to fund the discounting of invoices.
We want a site which is simple and clear – users must be able to find the information they need quickly. It needs to be time-efficient.
We need the look and feel of a professional website that is going to be used for financing invoices in the SME market. It should be appealing, easy to use, “flat” (not too many layers) and give a feeling of trust. The site must stand out because of its look and feel (professional, modern) and makes it a pleasure to use for the visitors.
The Main sections estimated to be (but not necessarily in this order):
Home Page
Who we are what we do (bullet points)
Calculator (giving indicative quotes only)
Contact details
Log-in (behind the log-in area there will be a range of elements, but these will come in the 2nd development phase of the site.

Nice to have
- Click to see video demonstrations (however, this will come in a second phase)
Should not have
- Site should not look like a “bank”.
Not too many colours
Should not have American fonts and page setting. If it looks obviously American, this will put off some people.
