Logo Design Brief

We have created a logo but we feel it is boring and needs to be spiced up and more modern. But we are also open to something different all together. It is a silhouette of of a door opening, the letter "L" and is the same shape as the province of Alberta, Canada which is where we live and work.

We are a commercial glass, door and automated entrance installer and service provider in the construction industry. We would prefer to see the colors grey/blue and we want something that stands out and pops.
