Logo Design Brief

I need a very modern, "clean" logo for our Texas High School football alumni association. It is very important that this logo is not only modern and clean, but also excepted by people young and old. I do not need to see a bunch of letters in the logo. I also need the logo to be instantly identifiable. Texas has a passion for high school football unlike anywhere else. Think about it...they have made movies like "Friday Night Lights", which spun off to a successful television series. There are also a number of country songs that mention HS football. I need a logo to represent the heart of this game, and what bonds communities around their local teams. I think there is also something about the generations past here. Please keep in mind that there is great pride in this state. Having a "T" or "Texas" or some variation of our state flag in the logo is a good thing...

This is a multi-generational group. It needs to be accepted and worn by teenagers to senior citizens and everyone in between.
