Logo Design Brief

Designers,

Tahoma High School is located in Maple Valley, Washington. We are currently rebranding our High School as we will be soon moving into a brand new building. As a part of the “rebranding” we would like to have a Bear Logo created that will represent our school and sports teams. For years, our teams have used random different bears and we would like to zero in on the one “Tahoma Bear” that we will use from now on. Our school colors are Royal Blue and Gold. We also use black and white as accent colors. We often use the Bear Logo on its own without the words “Tahoma High School” on it, so we are really focused on a Bear that represents us. You can learn about our school by visiting the school website www.tahomahigh.com or searching google for Tahoma High School. Since the logo will often times be embroidered, it is important that it can be easily reproduced.

We are not interested in having “Tahoma High School’ be a part of the logo. We would be interested seeing designs that incorporate THS as part of the Bear similar to the Washington State University Cougar. Not a parameter, but something we are interested in. An iconic Bear is our primary interest that would be identifiable as something that represents both our school and community.
