Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company in Columbus Ohio called 'Modern Day Dinner'

Times have changed. The way we think about dinner should too.

With my new business, I hope to solve the challenges modern day families face with busy schedules, dual career households, activities etc - by providing family style catering services.

I would like to see designs that have leverage a cool, modern color palette and font. I would like to see options for a letter mark, word mark and combination mark.

I absolutely love everything about the logo in the attachment I've included - color palette, font, design work. Feel free to use it as inspiration.

Target Market(s)

Working professionals with active lifestyles who would like to "outsource" meal preparation - dinner specifically.

While my target consumer values dinner with family, it often comes with tradeoffs of time, cost and energy.




Researchers from North Carolina State University interviewed 150 families and found that the whole whip-up-something-for-dinner directive is more like a whip-a-very-overburdened-horse for many families and utterly impossible for others. “Cooking is at times joyful, but it is also filled with time pressures, tradeoffs designed to save money, and the burden of pleasing others,”

Requirements

Must have

• Please see attachment - I would not be upset if the logo looked extremely close to this. Feel free to be creative, but I am looking for a modern design with a combination of word mark and symbol that connects it to meal time.
• The color palette and font should be cool and modern

Nice to have

• If we could include the positioning statement 'Times have changed. The way we think about dinner should too.' that would be great.
• I really like the blend of fonts like the attachment and the use of fork and knives as an integrated part of the logo.
• In addition to the colors below, please use Sand, Taupe, Grey, and Slate
