Packaging Design Brief
We need packaging design for a ponytail hair extension called the UPA Clip. UPA is an acronm for Undetectable Ponytail Attachment.
Our company is Laceflair and currently we are an internet business only. We are preparing to market our UPA Clip in upscale beauty supply stores. Because the cost of the UPA Clip is not cheap; $120.00, the packaging needs to be impressive.
The UPA Clip is unique to the market. Unlike other like ponytail attachments on the market, the UPA Clip does not attach with claw clips or drawstrings that look bulky and fake. Our ponytail attaches to interchangeable hair barrettes that sandwiches the natural ponytail between the hair on our UPA Clip. It gives an appearance that the UPA Clip is a natural ponytail growing from the scalp. We have 1 minute video's on our website that show how the UPA Clip attaches. While our website has 40+ interchangeable barrettes, the one that we will market in the beauty supply stores will have only the one black barrette that it will be attached to in the packaging.
The front of the packaging needs to show a model wearing a UPA Clip. The back of the packaging needs to show how the UPA Clip attaches and must emphasize that there is no claw clip or drawstring. I am not sure, but I think I want to use our logo as part of the design. You will see logo on website and we also have one with black background which I think will work best for packaging.
Updates
I should have added that the width of the packaging will be at least 4 inches wide and the length of the ponytails that will be packaged will be 16" and 12" long.

Hello Designers.
I have uploaded some pictures including logo's in different colors and one that is transparent. I have also included pictures of models. I do want to use pictures and somehow on the back show before and after pictures.

Must have
- The package must show model wearing a UPA Clip. Just a ponytail with a barrette. The packaging must display the ponytail which will be 2 sizes; one for a 10" ponytail and the other for a 14" ponytail. The barrette and ponytail must show through the packaging. For easy display at a beauty supply store, the top of the packaging must have a hole on top so that they can be placed on a rack. I am not sure if I want the ponytail in a box or clear bag with snaps. But I want it to look very eloquent since they are pricy. I will use the same packaging however, there will need to be one with black model for black hair texture and a white model for white hair texture.
