Web Design Brief
Cruise search and booking website
This project is a redesign of a cruise booking website we did a few years ago.
The current website is located here: http://cruise.djangopros.com/en/
It's not fully functional but gives you ad idea how miserable the old design was.
All the information about cruises, cruise lines, destinations, ports and shore excursions will be similar to http://www.cruise.com/
Actual search pages (form, results, single result, sailing and cabin selection, ship info, booking) will have EXACTLY the same info as cruise.com
We like the style of http://cruiseshipcenters.com, it's quite modern, good spacing, not overloaded with information. So you can use it as an example of what we like, not what we want as a final result for us. Please, don't copy it. The result should not be possible to resemble the cruiseshipcenters.com, because our site has to be unique. This is important!
If you submit a design that clearly reminds another cruise site it will be rejected!
Also the mockup provided is just to give you the basic structure and show what information has to be present on the page. It doesn't mean the layout has to be the same as a mockup. The layout is up to the designer.
I've updated the mockup to be more generic so it doesn't confuse you:

When you're adding social sharing icons like facebook/twitter you have to use chinese ones instead:

Originals: http://tinyw.in/cJYP
We'll start with home page first and after it's approved inner pages can be designed.
I know the cost of the project doesn't look high, but the task is straight forward and doesn't require to be very original, it's better to follow existing design and layout patterns that proved to work well.
That's why I encourage you to choose a template to build the design on top of one of https://wrapbootstrap.com/ themes if it will save the design work, will be easier and faster for you. So it will be more like a customization than a new design from scratch.
