Poster Design Brief

I’m looking for a poster to promote a corporate team event. The organisation of the event circulates between departments, and I’m looking for a dramatic A2 poster, to get people excited about archery.

Requirements

Must have

• An iconic Melbourne landmark (the location of the event)
  
  A relevance to archery
  
  Dark, dramatic and modern
  
  The poster should also contain the event name:
  GIA proudly presents (in relatively small font)
  FSG Archery Showdown (main title)
  No Time to Quiver (sub line)
  Thursday 22 August 2013
  
  I want the main title line (i.e. FSG Archery Showdown) to be bold and modern, with a flavour of medieval style. But I don’t want the medieval style of be dominant (e.g. Old English font should not be used). I would love for the title for resemble a logo (like WrestleMania) rather than just being one letter after another.

Nice to have

• The image of the landmark has a puncture point (where an arrow has been shot and hit), with the rest of the image shattered into pieces like glass. I want the landmark to remain recognisable.
  
  I would like to incorporate a target effect.
  
  I would prefer for the poster to be portrait.

Should not have

• Old English medieval font
